Principles and policies of offshore wind power, offshore wind turbine infrastructure and assembly technology.
What is offshore wind power? In order to reduce the harm to the environment, renewable energy has become one of the trends, and many countries have invested a lot of manpower development, hoping to make renewable energy the main supply energy. Offshore wind power generation is a hot topic in recent years. At present, Taiwan Province Province also has relevant policies for offshore wind power planning. This paper introduces the basic principle, structure, advantages and disadvantages of offshore wind power generation, hoping to let more people have a basic understanding of offshore wind power generation.

Advantages of offshore wind power generation: reducing losses. Using space offshore wind power generation is a kind of wind power generation, and its operating principle is similar to that of general wind power generation. It collects electric energy through the rotation of the motor inside the fan and transports it to the power consumption place. The basic wind power generation is to set up wind turbines on land, which is called "onshore wind power generation", while "offshore wind power generation" is to set up wind turbines at sea as its name implies. Generally speaking, the construction of offshore wind farms is much more difficult than land wind farms, but offshore wind farms have higher power generation and abundant space resources, which can also reduce the impact on nearby residents. This is the advantage.

The offshore wind turbine structure includes a wind turbine body and an underwater support. Because it is completely carried out at sea, it is quite difficult to set up the offshore wind field, which depends not only on the assembly of special ships, but also on the control of ship equipment. If we only look at offshore wind turbines, the structure of offshore wind turbines can be divided into engine room, axle, blades, tower, platform and underwater supporting infrastructure. During construction, it is necessary to fix the installation ship at sea, then drill the underwater structure of the fan into the deep seabed, and then carry out the upper installation process. According to the data, the single blade length of offshore wind turbines is longer than the wingspan of an A380 jet (the largest jet airliner in the world). Huge blades are assembled by offshore cranes, and subsequent adjustments also need the assistance of technicians.

Disadvantages of offshore wind power: marine ecology, fishery destruction and high cost. Although wind power has reduced the environmental pollution caused by non-renewable energy, the erection of offshore wind power has also caused great harm to the ocean, bird ecology and fishery. The cost of fan erection and maintenance is also one of the disputes, and natural disasters such as typhoons and earthquakes may affect the operation of fans. In some countries, offshore wind power will play an important role in renewable energy, but whether renewable energy can completely replace non-renewable energy in Taiwan Province Province needs to be evaluated from many aspects.

Taiwan Province province's offshore wind power policy: 4COffshore, a third-class international engineering consultancy, rated western Taiwan as the best offshore wind field in the world. At present, the offshore wind power policy in Taiwan Province Province is "demonstration first, potential second and block second", and the first batch of two demonstration wind turbines was completed on 20 17. It is estimated that the first offshore wind farm will be closed at the end of 20 19 and can be provided. However, in addition to the unique offshore wind field, Taiwan Province Province is also faced with climate difficulties such as salt wind, high temperature and high humidity, and other supporting measures such as fishery compensation, waterway planning, and electricity fee calculation also need continuous coordination from all parties. (You can refer to this article to introduce that we still lack a "holistic" policy thinking in the face of wind power dilemma)

At present, the countries with mature offshore wind power are mainly Europe, and Britain, Germany and Denmark all have perfect offshore wind fields. Since 20 16, the Netherlands has started the five-year offshore wind turbine ecological project "Wozep" with a capital of150,000 euros, hoping to adjust the wind turbine operation mode by means of hypothetical model research and keep the impact on biology as controllable as possible. As for whether Taiwan Province Province can develop offshore wind power smoothly, besides the implementation of policies, it also needs to communicate with the public to achieve a win-win situation.
