It is said that Wuchang fish will be steamed, but restaurants around East Lake must be braised in brown sauce, and you must make an appointment to eat it. The "Braised Wuchang Fish" in Chutian Road Hotel next to the East Lake is said to be the best, with a strong taste, and the meat and bones will be crisp soon. It is not bad with its "Yellow Crane Tower Wine"! However, I think this "braised Wuchang fish" tastes thick but tasteless, far less delicious than steamed fish. The scientific name of Wuchang fish is Megalobrama amblycephala, and the locals call it "Megalobrama amblycephala" or "Megalobrama amblycephala". Mao Zedong's poems are world-famous. "You only drink Changsha water and eat Wuchang fish", so people only know there are Wuchang fish but don't know the bream. Steamed fish should not be steamed for a long time, so it will be fresh and tender. This is the advantage that Wuchang fish is flat and wide. The advertising function of poetry should not be underestimated. Siniperca chuatsi, perch, puffer fish and Wuchang fish are all fish that swim out of the poem, and you can imagine the plain and delicious taste. At the beginning of this year, when I passed through Mount Cisse, I felt a thrill in my heart. I remembered Zhang's beautiful "Fishing Songs". I looked out of the window at the distant Mount Cisse, but it was quite different from my imagination. I dared not look again, for fear of confusing the good memories left by reading "Fishing Songs". "Egrets fly in front of Mount Cisse, and peach blossoms are flowing and mandarin fish are fat." After all, the reality of Mount Cisse is too small. Perhaps, the Cisse Mountain described by Zhang is not the riverside barricade in front of us?

Eat fish in Wuhan, but you can't eat stinky mandarin fish anywhere else. Your eyes will light up when you look at the menu, that is, your nose will be stimulated first when this dish comes up! Is the stinky mandarin fish delicious? It may not be right to say yes, but it's special. It tastes like fried stinky tofu! I like stinky tofu.
