Xinzhen Village is located 3 kilometers southwest of Shengli Street. Located in the hinterland of Dongying District Government, it is the largest urban village in Dongying City with convenient transportation and a long history.

History and origin of the village name: In the late Yuan Dynasty, the Chen family already lived here. In the second year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1369), Kang Dayong and Chen Youyou moved here from Zaoqiang County in Zhili Province (now Hebei Province) and settled here. In the fifth year of Hongwu (1372, the year of Xinhai), the village was established. , so it was named Xin Town, which has a history of more than 600 years. It was one of the nineteen salt fields in Shandong Province during the Ming Dynasty. For hundreds of years, residents of Yan Village worked hard to make a living. After several years of deforestation, the barren land was turned into fertile farmland in 1930. The land around the village was so fertile that it was once known as "Little Jinan Prefecture". Due to historical reasons, the village was merged three times in 1955, 1970 and 1986. The administrative divisions have been changed many times. It was placed under Kenli County in 1960, Guangrao County at the end of 1961, Kenli County in July 1966, and Dongying District in July 1984.

In 1987, 10,000 acres of rice fields were developed, which is rich in "Dongying Rice". From 1994 to 2001, river crab breeding was carried out and the city's largest hairy crab breeding base of 10,000 acres in the Yellow River Estuary was built.

Near Xinzhen Village are tourist attractions such as Longju Yellow River Forest Tourism Area, Hualin Manor, Dongying Shengli Oilfield Science and Technology Exhibition Center, Dongying Vientiane Amusement Park, Dongying Longyue Lake Scenic Area (Dongying Swan Lake), etc. Specialties include hairy crabs at the mouth of the Yellow River, watermelon from Mawan, saury at the mouth of the Yellow River, roasted chicken from Shikou, and swimming crab with three warts.
