1. Planting time
Generally planted in spring from February to April, no later than April. However, some areas also choose to plant in autumn, specifically between August and September, which is neither too early nor too late. The most suitable time is late August, otherwise the cooling will not be conducive to germination
2. Planting methods
1. Select cane buds: The planting is mostly done with cane buds. Choose those with more tail buds, which will grow stronger and thicker, so they are more cold-resistant, will germinate faster, and have higher yields. 2. Plot selection: Choose a plot with easy drainage and loose and fertile soil. You can plow the land first and fertilize it appropriately before planting. Only with adequate nutrition can we grow better. 3. Planting sugarcane sprouts: The soil can be planted in the soil after treatment. The method is very simple, just plant it directly. When covering with soil, be careful not to rot it too thickly. Make sure it gets enough light so new roots and shoots can grow quickly. 4. Later management: Management after planting is very important. Fertilizer should be applied in time and an appropriate amount of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium compound fertilizers should be applied. It is best to do it together with watering so that the fertilizer can be diluted as quickly as possible and easier to absorb. When the sugarcane buds grow to about one meter, they need to be fertilized every half month and provided with sufficient water, so that they can grow fast and strong under management.
