Liu Yiwei, formerly known as Liu Wei, was born in Chengdu, Sichuan Province on September 28, 1969, and is a host, director and actor.

On March 7, 2010, Feng Xiaogang said at the two sessions that he expected to make Liu Zhenyun's novel "I Am Not Pan Jinlian".
On April 18, 2015, Feng Xiaogang was awarded the Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French Ministry of Culture.
