Chongqing Gaozhu New District is located at the junction of Gaotan Town, Linshui County, Guang 'an City, Sichuan Province and Cizhu Town, Yubei District, Chongqing City. The planning scope includes some administrative areas of Cizhu Town and Dawan Town in Yubei District of Chongqing, and some administrative areas of Gaotan Town and Tantong Town in Linshui County, Guang 'an City, Sichuan Province. It is only 38 kilometers away from Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport. According to the plan, Sichuan-Chongqing Gaozhu New District will speed up the construction of advanced manufacturing clusters, suburban modern agricultural concentrated development areas, high-quality livable cities and eco-health tourism belts, and build a modern urban new district with coordinated development across regions. It is understood that promoting the construction of industrial cooperation demonstration park is an important measure to implement the national strategy of building Chengdu-Chongqing twin-city economic circle, and it is also an important exploration for the two places to build an industrial development carrier under the framework of moderate separation of economic zones and administrative zones. In October last year, Chongqing Economic and Information Committee and Sichuan Economic and Information Office accelerated the construction of industrial cooperation parks in Chengdu and Chongqing according to the Work Plan of Deepening Sichuan-Chongqing Cooperation and Promoting the Construction of Chengdu-Chongqing Twin-city Economic Circle. * * * Together, they studied and promulgated the Administrative Measures for the Creation of Industrial Cooperation Demonstration Parks in Chengdu-Chongqing Twin-city Economic Circle, and started the application for the creation of the first batch of industrial cooperation demonstration parks.
