Article 1 All retired military cadres who want to be accepted and placed in our city must be introduced by the provincial resettlement office for retired military cadres and reviewed by the municipal resettlement office for retired military cadres according to relevant regulations before they can be accepted. All districts and counties may not directly accept retired military cadres (including those who have been retired after the implementation of policies by the military).

after the housing of retired military cadres in all districts and counties is completed, the Report Form of Housing Completion for Retired Military Cadres should be filled in to the city, and the resettlement office of retired military cadres in the city will report it to the resettlement office of retired military cadres in the province to inform the relevant troops. After receiving the notice, the troops should send people to our city to prepare for the handover. Article 3 After the housing of retired military cadres is completed, the civil affairs department shall be responsible for distribution, and the housing management department shall be responsible for management and maintenance. The housing charging standard shall be charged according to the document No.92 [1981] of Guangdong Province and the charging standard of the local government cadres' dormitory. Civil affairs departments should do a good job in housing allocation according to the age and health of retired military cadres. The standard of housing allocation: 7 square meters for cadres at regimental level and 5 square meters for cadres below battalion level. The principle of housing allocation: if both husband and wife retire at the same time, the housing will be allocated according to the living standard of the spouse with high position; If one party retires and the other party is still in the army, housing will not be arranged temporarily; If one party retires and the other party retires, they will live with the retired cadres; Now living in a local housing allocation (referring to the housing allocated to me or my spouse), if the housing area is not lower than the current standard, no housing will be allocated. Housing area is lower than the current standard (not including retired military cadres received before the promulgation of the Interim Provisions). If I request the allocation of housing, I can allocate housing, but I should take back the original housing and not occupy two houses at the same time. For those with a large population and crowded housing, with the approval of the local competent department, a part of the housing may be retained as appropriate. After the housing management department recovers this part of the housing, it should give priority to the retired military cadres who were assigned to the previous places without housing and crowded housing. Retired military cadres in Guangzhou who live in military houses should return the original houses to the troops after housing allocation. Article 4 When retired military cadres come to our city for resettlement, the vehicles needed for the relocation of retired military cadres in Guangzhou area shall be taken care of by the original troops; The civil affairs departments of resettlement districts and counties can assist in contacting and renting vehicles for the transport vehicles of retired military cadres who have moved to Guangzhou Station and Wharf, but I shall be responsible for reimbursing the original troops for the required expenses. Article 5 The accounts of retired military cadres and their accompanying families shall be checked, registered and countersigned by the Municipal Public Security Bureau, and then go through the household registration formalities at the local police station, with the certificates of political organs at or above the army level, letters of introduction (their accompanying family members shall be based on the household registration certificate and the certificate of food relationship transfer), letters of introduction of retired military cadres from the Municipal Office for Resettlement of Retired Military Cadres, and the list of their accompanying children. The local grain department shall handle the procedures of connecting grain and oil supply with the proof of settlement of the public security department and the letter of introduction on grain relations of retired military cadres issued by the resettlement department of retired military cadres, and the proof of grain supply transfer in the place where they moved out. The children of family members who were resettled in rural areas with retired cadres were originally registered in cities and towns, but they still ate commodity grain after moving. Article 6 Retired military cadres who have been relocated, spouses who have been approved to join the army, underage and unemployed children and other relatives who have been approved to join the army before retirement may move with them. If the spouse is a formal employee of the state (including collective ownership), it can be transferred at will. If there are no children to take care of after the relocation (referring to no children under the age of 16), or if there are children around, they can't take care of their parents because their children are disabled, they will be transferred to a working child (including their spouse). For their job transfer, before the relocation, the troops will send people to contact the personnel and labor departments in the resettlement area to arrange their work, and move with them after the arrangement of the unit is implemented. For the children of retired military cadres who were supported by the army before retirement and are now serving in the army, they can settle in the areas where retired cadres live and arrange work according to urban veterans.

The children of retired military cadres who move with them attend school, and the education department should arrange for them to attend school in the residential area after registered permanent residence, based on the certificate of the local resettlement department. Article 7 Retirement expenses, food price subsidies, non-staple food price subsidies, disability payments, medical expenses, nursing expenses, water and electricity subsidies, welfare expenses, etc. of retired military cadres in that year shall be paid by the military to the local resettlement departments at one time. Other funds needed for retirement in that year shall be made up by the civil affairs department of the resettlement area according to the standards of local state organs and cadres, and shall be charged to the financial department at the same level. From next year, their retirement living expenses will be included in the district and county financial budgets by the district and county civil affairs departments according to the standards and will be paid monthly. Eighth, we should be concerned about the health of retired military cadres. Retired military cadres enjoy the free medical treatment of cadres of the same rank in state organs and are divided into medical units according to their residence. The families and children of retired military cadres who move with them should handle the overall medical care according to the regulations. Ninth, we should take good care of retired military cadres in political care and life. After the retired military cadres are resettled, party member must transfer the organizational relationship to the Organization Department of the Municipal Party Committee with a letter of introduction from the Party organization of the army. In places where retired military cadres are concentrated, Party organizations should be established according to the regulations of party constitution, and they should be led by the directly under the authority Party Committee of the local government or the Party organizations of the civil affairs departments.
