After crossing the bridge, I walked along the plank road for a while and came to Wudingping, where there was a huge stone statue and a waterwheel beside it. Many children like to play with stones. Wudingping sculpture tells the legendary origin of the ancient Shu Road. According to ancient records, in the middle and late Warring States period, King Hui of Qin saw the decline of the 12th enlightened dynasty of ancient Shu, and the king of Shu was dissolute and wanted to cut Shu, but he was blocked by mountains and had no way to get through. Later, King Huiwen of Qin adopted the strategy of General Sparrow, falsely claiming that Qin could bring down a Shi Niu and dung gold at night. The King of Qin wrote to the King of Shu, saying that he was willing to be friends with Shu, and presented Shi Niu as a treasure to the King of Shu and a beautiful woman. Please clear the way and welcome him back. Because of lust, they sent five troops to reach the cliff and have no definite gorge, chopping mountains and chiseling stones day and night, escorting the way into Qin, and invited beautiful women to come. After the opening of Shu Road, Qin secretly sent an army to March in. Shu was unguarded, and the frontline troops were outnumbered. After the defeat of Meng Jia in World War I, Shu was destroyed. Later, this road was named Shi Niu Road (also called Jinniu Road).

The bridge inside Jianmenguan is a little crooked, and then it comes to Shixian Bridge. It is said that Li Bai entered Shu and passed the sword gate. You can imagine how difficult it was to walk here in ancient times when you walked across the Shixian Bridge and saw the boulders around you, and then you came to the Tan Guantai Poetry Corridor. For thousands of years, emperors and scholars have recited thousands of poems about Jianmenguan, such as Zhang Zai, Wang Bo, Li Longji, Li Bai, Du Fu, Li Shangyin, Wang Anshi and Lu You. All these lament the magnificence of the sword gate from different angles and provide people with rich historical knowledge and knowledge.
There are so many descriptions of the difficulty of the Shudao in Jianmenguan, which shows how difficult the road was at that time. There are several forks in this position. There is a plum garden not far ahead. The door is closed. I wonder if it is full of plum blossoms. Many people suddenly appeared in front of another mountain road. When I walked in, I realized that many people were waiting in line. Looking at the scenic spot signs, I came at first sight. The first scene is formed by the gap between the columnar conglomerate and the cliff left by the gravity collapse of the rock at the front edge of Jianmen Cliff. The gap is about 1 m, and only one scene is seen during the pedestrian period. You can walk by cable car, but there are long lines on both sides, and then you can feel the excitement of the National Day atmosphere.

I have a regret to say here. There is a road to the ape-man road here at the peak of the book case. I'm going to take this road when I go down the mountain, so that I can see more scenic spots. Therefore, this trip to Jianmenguan missed the most challenging and exciting scenic spots in Jianmenguan.
The ape-man road in Jianmenguan is a road without iron ropes and safety fences, with a total length of 440 meters, the highest drop of about 500 meters, the widest point of 30 cm, and the narrowest point of only 15 cm. Overlooking the traffic on the Sichuan-Shaanxi highway, the Jianxi River twists and turns, the villages under the cave are dotted, the countryside is mountainous and the scenery outside the customs is natural.
I didn't expect a big through hole in the back, but the scenery is not as good as a small through hole. The large tunnel is located in Dajian Mountain at an altitude of 1020 meters. The tunnel beam is a cave landscape formed by the continuous dissolution of sand, mud, iron and calcium cemented between conglomerate rocks. The cave is18m long, 6m wide and 4m high. The top of the cave looks like a long rock rolling bridge.
After seeing the big and small caves, I came to Mama Cliff, which is located on the cliff of Dajianshan, with an altitude of 1 166 meters. This scenic spot is a vertical cliff formed by conglomerate of Jianmenguan Formation of Lower Cretaceous, which is10.36-0.96 billion years ago. The platform above the cable car is the highest point of Jianmenguan. There is a suspended glass observation deck, which doesn't look very big as a whole. Walking around here is no challenge for me. I'm going to have a look. It's getting late, but there are still many scenic spots to see. A little earlier, there is a bridge made of pure glass, and you can experience the feeling of glass bridge by the way. There is a Liangshan temple above, which is the real peak, but I didn't go because I'm not interested in temples. Then I'm going to visit several important scenic spots down the mountain.
The first scenic spot we passed down the mountain was the skyrope, which slid from one side of the mountain to the other for a one-way trip to 30 yuan. It still looks dangerous. In fact, the front is from the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain. Because walking through the mountains is relatively flat, I didn't feel the rigor of the sword door. But from the moment I set foot on the plank road, the majesty and rigor of Jianmenguan immediately appeared in front of me.
As it was late afternoon, I walked faster, and there were many tourists along the way, lamenting the steep road. Down the plank road to the bottom of the valley, there is a bridge leading to the opposite bottom of the mountain, and then continue up the mountain through the plank road. The slope is steep and it is very tiring to climb up. Jianmen plank road is a passage in ancient China, which was formed by drilling holes and bridge pavilions on steep rocks and walls. It is also a traffic artery for military strategists to attack and defend. The project is arduous and the road is dangerous. It is a miracle in the ancient traffic history of China. "The Warring States Policy Qin" records: "The plank road is a thousand miles away, reaching directly". The plank road between Sichuan and Shaanxi was built in the Warring States Period and expanded in the Qin and Han Dynasties. Due to the burning of ancient wars and the erosion in 2000, the ancient plank road left traces of stains and spots, which people deplore today.
After walking the plank road, you come to the top of the mountain, overlooking the abyss below and the mountains in the distance. The houses at the foot of the mountain are dotted with spectacular scenery.
