When traveling abroad, would you rather eat local food for the sake of curiosity, or eat Chinese food just to be on the safe side?

When traveling abroad, I am willing to eat local food for the sake of curiosity. Because in my opinion, traveling abroad is not only to see foreign scenery, see foreign life, and experience experiences that cannot be experienced at home. Appreciating food is also a main purpose of traveling abroad, so tasting local food is absolutely an indispensable part. We even spent a lot of time looking for delicious restaurants, even if we sometimes spent more money en route. I once visited Bali. Because it is my first time to go abroad, I like to seek out all kinds of novel things, and food is one of these things.

In Bali, I especially like Indonesian fried rice and noodles. I really can’t get enough of them. I stayed in Bali for more than ten days. I ate fried rice or noodles for breakfast every day. It felt completely different from what I had at home. The fried rice was hidden under the omelette, which was very appetizing. One of Bali’s most famous specialties is cat poop coffee, and we specifically asked our driver to take us to a coffee plantation on our day charter trip. While I'm not crazy about coffee, at least I enjoy drinking it, but the taste of the original cat poop coffee is still not acceptable to me, maybe better with sugar and milk.

In Ubud, I made a special call and ordered a dirty duck meal. The brown blob on the plate is the legendary dirty duck, although it has no obvious connection to the duck. The seasoning of the dirty duck is truly unforgettable. I don't like spicy food, but the spicy taste of dirty duck is still irresistible. The more I ate it, the tastier it became.

Before leaving Bali, I had a candlelight dinner and seafood barbecue on the beach. However, the seafood in Bali tastes stale and not as delicious as China.
