What is the transition technology?

Video works such as movies, TV series, promos and titles often need scene change. In order to make the transformation more logical, organized, artistic and visual, the transformation between scenes needs certain skills.

There are many methods of transition, but they can usually be divided into two categories: one is to use special effects to transition, and the other is to use the natural transition of the lens to transition. The former is also called skill transition, and the latter is also called unskilled transition.

Methods of skill transformation:

1. Fade in and out;

2. Sweep and change;

3. overlap;

4. Turn pages;

5. Stop the frame;

6. Use an empty lens.

Unskilled transition method:

1. Same topic conversion;

2. Block the lens transition;

3. Subjective shot transition;

4. Close-up transition;
