Step 1
Peel the yam (remember to wear gloves, or take a piece of kitchen paper to pinch it) I used a very thin stick of yam, I think it's too small, next time I will try a thicker one.
Step 2
The baking tray is lined with tinfoil and brushed with a thin layer of oil, I used olive oil, which can be replaced by peanut oil, etc. Make sure to wipe it off, or else the yams will easily stick to the tinfoil. (Ignore the crumbs on the plate, baked several times)
Step 3
Continue to use a paring knife to slice the yam, directly into the oiled tinfoil, I am trying to keep my hands off the yam.
Step 4
Plate and brush with a thin layer of oil, not too much. Bake in the oven at 100 degrees for 10 minutes.
Step 5
Remove out of the oven, remember to sprinkle with pretzels or other seasoning powder you like! Crispy and delicious, let's have another plate.
