How to cook abalone

The recipe for boiled abalone is as follows:

Ingredients: 6 dried abalones, 1200 ml of broth, 1 spoon of oyster sauce, 1/4 spoon of light soy sauce, and 5 grams of rock sugar.

1. Wash the dried abalone, soak it in water for 48 hours, change the water every 12 hours, and store it in the refrigerator.

2. After soaking for 48 hours, clean the abalone teeth circled in red in the picture and the black internal organs behind them.

3. Then take a clean, oil-free container, add water, bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low heat and simmer for 30 minutes, simmer for 30 minutes and let cool naturally. After that, continue soaking for 5 days, changing the water every day. Refrigerate.

4. Put the abalone into the electric stew pot, add 1200ml of broth, add enough at one time, and simmer for 24 hours.

5. After 24 hours, the abalone has been cooked until soft. Take another small pot, add abalone, pour in the broth that was stewed with abalone, and bring to a boil over high heat.

6. After boiling over high heat for 30 minutes, add a small amount of oyster sauce, a small amount of dark soy sauce, and four or five rock sugars, and continue to simmer to reduce the juice.

7. Prepare water starch.

8. Take out the abalone and put it on a plate.

9. Add water starch. Do not pour all the water starch at once. Pour slowly until the abalone juice thickens.

10. Pour abalone juice on top.
