Soft-shelled turtle, also known as grouper, water fish and soft-shelled turtle, is a general term for aquatic soft-shelled turtle.

It is an oviparous amphibian and reptile. The common species in China are soft-shelled turtle and Eriocheir sinensis. There is a soft skirt at the edge, and the back and limbs are usually dark green.
