Modern British cooking takes the best of traditional British dishes and tastes good. Anywhere in London, you can taste food from all over the world, reflecting the colorful side of London.
Bread
Bread
Whole wheat is healthier. Those who don't if you're not full can keep asking the waiter to serve you butter and bread.
Appetizer: pumpkin mousse
Pumpkin, ginger, toasted seeds
Pumpkin can be a little greasy if it's though poorly made, but this pumpkin puree mousse tastes smooth like ice cream, is light but fresh, and has a creamy, minty flavor. The sweet pumpkin, slightly spicy ginger, mixed with lightly sautéed seeds and nuts, gives a great aftertaste.
International Version Vinegared Cucumber
Cucumber Lime Juice Cured Fish Aged Balsamic Vinegar, Whipped Cream
This uniquely delicate appetizer is one that many people look at the photo and think is a dessert. But from its ingredients: cucumber, lime juice, balsamic vinegar, and French sour cream, we can sense that it's actually a pickled cucumber appetizer. When it was served, the aroma lingered for a long time. The cucumber is cut into strips and cubes, added to a thick sour sauce with crushed ice in the center. It is a refreshing appetizer in the mouth. Satisfying simple ingredients tests the chef's ability the most.
Fried mackerel
Mackerel, fennel, tuberous celery, apple
This fish was delicious, the best in the house. The skin on the outside was flavorful and crispy while the fish inside was very tender. The fish was so perfect that one overlooked the side dishes, except for the apple strips which were so obvious that they made an instant impression. The fennel heads and celery were not as prominent. But the side dishes were a great aid in removing the grease.
Scallops
Scallops, brussels sprouts, pink grapefruit, pearl barley
Scallop meat, fresh seasonal vegetables, red grapefruit and now the healthiest Limai make up this perfect side dish. The broccoli and cauliflower were delicious, but not too rough or salty, and the seasoning was well balanced. The scallops were al dente and smooth, tough but not hard. The wheat and stuffing were just right, with some tart seasoning. The barley and other assorted grains underneath were delicious with the scallop soup. The light creamy flavor made it warm and filling.
Game
Fallow deer, beet, chicory, parsley
Vegetable meat by itself is a flavorless meat. If eaten on its own, it it's light and difficult to cut, so the chef used a very strong topping. The minced venison mix was very similar to the braised meat we eat in our bruschetta, and it was very flavorful. The large pink beet tasted like fruit corn. Also, the pink ice cream sauce is made from beet, mixed with parsley and chicory. And it has a strong flavor.
Dessert
Before dessert
A mixed cookie with yogurt, lemon, mousse and almonds. It tasted a lot like an omelette underneath ice cream, with a hint of almond aroma in the aftertaste. It was tart and sweet with a yellow lemon sauce hidden in the center. It it's' very tasty.
Dessert
Brown buttercream, dill, buttermilk
Huge plate, golden threads of dessert, and a really charming French flair. Simply put, it's a mixture of cake and ice cream.
