Worm white wax body light, can float on the water surface; hard and slightly brittle, rubbing and pinching with the hand is crushed. The cross-section is uneven, needle-like crystalline shape, or show small particles, with glass-like luster. There is a weak peculiar odor, light taste, chewing like fine sand. Insoluble in water, ether and chloroform, soluble in benzene and petroleum ether. Melting point 80～83℃. White color, hard, dense and no bubbles. No defeated oil odor is good.
