How to choose durian
Six tips for selecting durian:

The first trick: when we choose durian, we should look at the spikes of durian. If the spikes of durian are thick and short, then its skin is thin and its flesh is rich and full. Pinch the tips of two adjacent spikes by hand. If the spikes are soft, then the maturity of durian is relatively high. If it can't be pinched, it means that durian is sandwiched. Don't buy such durian.

The second trick: look at the size, color and bottom of durian. Durian with big head, yellow color and flat bottom has more pulp, full pulp and high maturity.

The third measure: Look at the size of the crack. Many friends think that the bigger the opening, the higher the maturity. In fact, this is a misunderstanding. When buying durian, you should choose something with a slight crack or one that can be gently pried open with a knife. Don't choose something with a big crack. If the crack is too big, the pulp will be exposed and easily deteriorated or polluted.

The fourth measure: smell the ripe durian, smell it with a fragrant smell, and the raw or immature durian smells it with a grassy smell. If it smells of alcohol, the pulp of this durian has gone bad, so don't buy such durian.

Fifth, look at the fruit handle of durian. If the fruit handle of durian is thick and fresh, there will be traces when you pinch it with your nails, indicating that durian is relatively fresh, and its taste and nutritional value are superior. On the contrary, it is durian that has been stored for a long time, and the pulp may have deteriorated, so it is not recommended to buy it.

The sixth trick: shake the pulp, pick up the durian and gently shake it in your ear. If you can feel the pulp shaking gently, it is a durian with high maturity. If the pulp is firm, it is a relatively raw durian.
