"Sub-health" may be a precursor of leukemia.
(Reporter Liu Jiyi) On April 23, the reporter learned from the "Doctor-patient Exchange Meeting of Chronic Myeloid Leukemia" held by the First Hospital of Heavy Medicine that the incidence of this disease in China has been rising in recent years, and there is a trend of rejuvenation. There are about 3,000 new patients in Chongqing alone every year.

Wang Li, an associate professor of hematology in the First Hospital of Heavy Medicine, said that chronic myeloid leukemia is a kind of leukemia, which can be divided into chronic phase, accelerated phase and acute phase according to the condition. In the first five or six years, it was in a chronic phase, and most patients had no obvious symptoms. Generally, the disease is found through physical examination when white blood cells and platelets increase and the spleen is swollen.

Wang Li said that in recent years, the incidence rate in China has been rising and there is a trend of youthfulness. There are about 3,000 new patients in Chongqing alone every year.

He reminded that the initial symptoms of chronic myeloid leukemia are similar to sub-health symptoms, and there are roughly the following symptoms:

Hyperhidrosis and fever: there are a large number of leukemia cells in leukemia patients, and the body produces a series of heating substances, which leads to fever; Weakness and pallor: Patients are often accompanied by anemia, with symptoms such as fatigue, pallor, palpitation, shortness of breath and edema of lower limbs. Weight loss: Leukemia, chronic granulocyte infection and high metabolism caused by persistent high fever will all cause weight loss, and some patients may also lose weight due to loss of appetite.
