How can charging a membership or anything be considered a scam now. In fact, all video networks, or online games are now membership. With a membership you can watch videos more skillfully than ordinary people, and play online games more beautifully. It's not always possible to become awesome, but it's still nice to get some cool skins and equipment and stuff. So it's not a scam, but you just can't enjoy as much of the membership level without opening it. Everything else is the same.
