Shanghai Zoo is a large national zoo and a favorite entertainment place for friends of all sizes. 1, Science and Education Museum

Located on the west side of the gate. Baihuatang was originally a brick-wood structure, and was changed to a reinforced concrete three-story ring building in September, 1992, covering an area of 2,200 square meters. The museum was designed by Shanghai Civil Design Institute and constructed by Shanghai Landscape Engineering Company. The mosaic on the wall is white and green, and there is a green tree pattern on the south wall to show the theme of ecological protection. On the front wall is the inscription "Science Education Museum" written by Tan.

2. Jiuqu Promenade

Located on the west side of the Science and Education Museum, the bamboo five-curved corridor originally built by 1954 was converted into a reinforced concrete nine-curved corridor by 1972. The corridor is flat-topped, with leaking windows in the north corridor wall and columns in the south corridor, with a total length of more than 70 meters and a construction area of 320 square meters. The front porch retains the slightly undulating lawn of the original golf course. 1966, a concrete sculpture of "Little Sisters of Prairie Heroes" was built on the lawn. The base is 1. 1m high and the image is 3.5m high, covering an area of more than 20 square meters. Tall shady trees and flowering shrubs such as cedar, cypress, Platanus acerifolia, Cinnamomum camphora and Ilex cornutum are planted in the lawn, and stone tables, benches or wooden chairs are set under the big trees. The back porch is strewn at random, and the stream is winding. Next to it are flowering shrubs such as Chimonanthus praecox, osmanthus fragrans, pomegranate, Nandianzhu, Lagerstroemia indica, plum blossom and anoectochilus roxburghii.

3. Wei Jie Lemur Garden

Songganhe Ecological Park is an ecological exhibition area with visual barrier-free viewing, which was completed on National Day in 2000. The total area of the park is 1000 square meters, including 700 square meters of outdoor activities. Acacia albizzia, a deciduous tree, is the skeleton tree species in the park, which conforms to the habit of squirrel monkeys living in tropical virgin forests. Among the background tree species, coral and Ligustrum lucidum, Rosa roxburghii and Pyracantha fortunei were selected to provide edible fruits for squirrel monkeys. In the design of the whole squirrel monkey ecological park, the word "ecology" is always followed, and people, animals and nature are organically combined to create an ecological environment in which people and animals live in harmony with nature.

6. Amphibian Ecological Park

The indoor area is 3180m2, and part of it is a two-story building with an outdoor area of 200m2. It was completed and opened on 1994. This museum mainly consists of seven parts: preface hall, aquarium, amphibian hall, lizard hall, non-poisonous snake hall, poisonous snake hall and ecological hall. The aquarium displays marine coral fish, tropical ornamental fish and freshwater economic fish, including China specialty Chinese sturgeon, mullet and large marine reptiles, such as turtles, hawksbill and turtles.

7. Chimpanzee Ecological Park

The orangutan museum was built in 1977, with a total construction area of 850 square meters. * * * Six indoor exhibition halls are combined into two connected buildings, which mainly raise apes such as orangutans, chimpanzees and gibbons.
