Episode 1

This year the four children are at home and it is decided that Baojin Baoyin Baoyu will go to the boiler room and pretend to apologize to Guan Jidong and the whole family will spend the New Year's Eve together. Guan Jidong thinks that the three of them are faking it and doesn't take the trouble.

Episode 14

Guan Jidong mentioned the introduction of Wang Xiaoqiu to Juanzi, Juanzi scoffed and said she looked down on men like Wang Xiaoqiu, and Guan Jidong was angry. Zhu Qin's mother has a snobbish vision and looks down on Baoyin, disapproving of his relationship with Zhu Qin.

Episode 15

Episode 18

Guan Jidong finally managed to find someone from the army to tell the old chief the inside story of Baogin's bravery, and that Baogin was disqualified from enlisting in the army before his departure. Gao Xiulan was so sad that she asked Guan Jidong to leave her house.

Episode 19

Episode 23

Zhu Qin weeps silently at the hospital and regrets having wronged Baoyin. Dr. Zhu comforts her daughter by pretending that Baoyin has forgiven her. Dr. Zhu finds Guan Jidong and asks him to persuade Baoyin and Zhu Qin to get back together, and Guan Jidong says he can only try.

Episode 24

Baoyin finds Zhu Qin and rebukes her, letting out their frustrations. Dr. Zhu gets angry and goes to Guan Jidong to argue, but is persuaded away by Gao Xiulan. Wang Xiaoqiu brought Juanzi back home and took good care of her. Juanzi was touched and asked him if he liked her, Wang Xiaoqiu stammered and said he was not good enough for Juanzi, Juanzi wanted to marry Wang Xiaoqiu, Wang Xiaoqiu cried with excitement.

Episode 25

Guan Jidong brought Yuan Fang to do the ideological work for Baoyin, who was told of Yuan Fang's identity but ran out of the door. Baogin saves a goat herder from the shelling area by lighting a cannon to blow up a mountain. Baogin truly becomes a heroic example of bravery and courage. In the hospital, Baogin proposes to become a soldier, and his dream of many years finally comes true.

Episode 27

Baoyu spends his days following a few punks around, listening to music, reading pictorials, learning to dance and playing soccer without thinking about progress. Li Jingmin goes to visit Dabao and meets Juanzi. He offers to pursue her again and is rejected by Juanzi, but Li Jingmin remains undeterred.

Episode 28

Juan Zi finds her way to Li Jing Min's place to return the prize money and finds Li Jing Min alone and sick in bed, so she sends him to the hospital. Wang Hongxia finds Baoyu and says that some of his friends borrowed the key to the bank's recreation room from him but no one is there.

Episode 29

Guan Jidong continued to cure his illness with a biased prescription, and Wang Hongxia rushed to visit him, saying that Baojin had written a letter mentioning Guan Jidong and thanking him for the kindness of his tutelage, and Guan Jidong shed tears of joy.
