Master Kong is not entirely owned by Japan, and some shares belong to Japanese companies. Master Kong is a joint venture, not a pure Japanese brand, among which Japan Sanyo Food Co., Ltd. is only the second largest shareholder of Master Kong.

Master Kong was listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited on February 1996. The largest shareholder of Master Kong is Taiwan Province Ding Xin (Cayman Islands) Holding Co., Ltd., accounting for 33.27%, followed by Sanyo Food Co., Ltd., accounting for 33. 18%. The largest individual shareholder is Wei Yingzhou, founder of Master Kong brand, accounting for 0.4% of the shares, and the remaining 33. 15% is held by the public.

Master Kong is headquartered in Tianjin Economic and Technological Development Zone, mainly engaged in the production and operation of instant noodles, drinks, cakes and related supporting industries. Master Kong began to develop and produce the first packet of instant noodles from 1992, and quickly grew into the largest instant noodle production and sales enterprise in China and even the world.

Master Kong consists of four business groups: instant noodles, drinks, cakes and supporting businesses. The whole country is divided into eight regions, namely: North China, South China, East China, Central China, Northwest China, Southwest China, Northeast China and Shanghai.
