abstract
During the period of 1942, World War II was in full swing, and Japan was invincible in various battlefields in Asia. In the tropical jungle of Nanyang Java Island, there is a Japanese prisoner of war detention center, which is managed by Army Captain Shi (decorated) and former Staff Sergeant.
The original style was rude and heartless. He never showed mercy to European and American prisoners of war and was very strict with his own soldiers. Although Lawrence (tom conti), a British prisoner, is not a captor, he often deals with the Japanese, especially with the former staff sergeant, because he is proficient in Japanese. Jack, a British officer, was arrested for organizing guerrilla warfare and sent to a shelter. Shi was attracted by this handsome "ideal officer" and became extremely nervous.
Homosexuality prevailed in the shelter, and the rough treatment of the former staff sergeant did not help. Shi frantically ordered the North Korean guards who sodomized Dutch prisoners of war to commit suicide by caesarean section. Affected by this incident, Lawrence and Jack were jailed. The former staff sergeant released Lawrence and Jack on Christmas Eve and said to Lawrence, "Merry Christmas, Lawrence."
