For example, sweeteners, chemical synthetic pigments and preservatives, we basically have inspection methods for these chemicals, because we have stipulated the maximum dosage and residue in food.
Inspection: There are now more than 2,300 kinds of additives, and the GB2760 standard stipulates the scope, limit and principle of use. In other words, it can only be used in a limited amount within a specific range, which is safe. At present, some standards are missing. What is missing is the product quality standard of additives. This is a historical situation. The original product standards, including food safety standards, are scattered in various departments, and the food hygiene standards are in charge of the health department. This is illegal food additive.
