Identification of authenticity
Pseudo dendrobium has stone cactus, Yunnan stone cactus, fine-leaved stone cactus, etc. The main differences between the fake and genuine dendrobium are as follows:
1. The fake products are pseudo-bulbs of stone cactus plants, not the genuine medicinal parts of the stem.
2. The pseudo-bulbs are dried, strongly longitudinal wrinkled fusiform, long fusiform or ovate or ovate-oblong, thick in the middle section, the two sections are finer.
3. All have round-like leaf scars at the tip, with most of the pits on the surface of the leaf scars and a horseshoe-shaped demarcation in the center (for the demarcation of the two leaf scars).
