Generally speaking, CET-4 refers to the National College English Test Band 4, which is one of the exams that undergraduates will sign up for during their college years, and most colleges and universities will take it as one of the conditions for obtaining a degree certificate. CET-4 is the main manifestation of students' foreign language ability.
The CET-4 paper consists of four parts: writing, listening, reading comprehension and translation. In several parts, reading is difficult, because reading is relatively large, paying attention to methods, and at the same time, you need to have a certain vocabulary to understand the article. Among them, the writing test time is 3 minutes, the listening test time is 25 minutes, the reading comprehension time is 4 minutes, and the translation time is 3 minutes, which is 125 minutes. In addition, we have to give instructions to the examination room, hand out test papers and receive answer sheets. The standardized CET-4 and CET-6 began to be prepared at the end of 1986 and was formally implemented in 1987. CET-4 is held twice a year, and the registration time is June and December every year (the time is slightly different every year). You can apply for CET-6 if your score reaches 425 or above, so it is generally believed that the qualified line of CET-4 is 425.
