I'm studying in a department which is quite difficult to find a job in Peking University, but I still bite the bullet and try to answer this question with envy of other majors. (I don't recommend my major, because my major is scientific research-oriented, not employment-oriented, so I won't talk about it.)

1. The career development path of medical college

is quite clear, from undergraduate to graduate to hospital. Basically, as long as I don't have much rejection of the profession of doctor, I study hard and my professional ability is passable, I definitely don't have to worry about finding a job, but I may be tired when I am young, but I am a doctor.

2. Finance or Economy

The employment situation was particularly good in the past few years, and it seems to be leveling off in recent years, but overall it is still very good for employment, and the employment development is quite good, and the salary level is still good. In fact, just like programmers, it is quite tiring, but the salary is really much better than other industries. However, the college entrance examination scores are really high, and it is difficult to take the exam.

3. Mathematics or physics or computer

This is my own selfishness. If I am a science student, it is really a good choice to choose a school of mathematics, a school of physics or a computer. Forget about computers. After all, the Internet industry is hot. Mathematics and physics are mainly because the foundation of mathematics and physics is really important, and the majors of mathematics and physics in Peking University are really strong. Therefore, as long as you can study, it is really too easy for you to change your major (such as studying finance) in the postgraduate stage, which belongs to a major with a lot of accumulation.

In fact, most students who graduated from Peking University don't worry about employment, so in fact, although I work in a department where it is difficult to find a professional counterpart, my classmates around me are not really looking for employment. Many people who study at Peking University still have great scientific research ideals, so it is most important to choose what they like!
