1, large intestine
The large intestine is an important part of the human digestive system, and it is the lower segment of the digestive tract. The total length of the adult large intestine is about 1.5m, which starts from the ileum and includes six parts: cecum, ascending colon, transverse colon, descending colon, sigmoid colon and rectum. The whole process is shaped like a box, surrounding the jejunum and ileum.
2, the appendix
Appendices, also known as vermis, are slender and curved blind tubes, located at the lower right of the abdomen, between the cecum and ileum. Their roots are connected to the posterior medial wall of the cecum, and the distal free well is occluded. The range of activities varies greatly from person to person. Influenced by mesentery, the appendix can extend to any direction of the abdominal cavity.
3, anal canal
Anal canal is the end of digestive tract, which is connected with rectum at the top and anus at the bottom. It can be divided into anatomical anal canal and surgical anal canal. Anatomical anal canal refers to the part from dentate line to anal margin, with an average length of 2.5cm for adults. Surgical anal canal refers to the part from the anal margin to the plane of anorectal ring, with an average length of 4cm for adults.
