I. Origin of surname:
The first origin: it originated from the surname of Jiang, descended from Ziya of Jiang Taigong in the early Western Zhou Dynasty, and belonged to the surname of official position.
According to the historical book "History of the Road", "Qi Taigong was followed by Jiao". It is also recorded in the historical book "A Survey of Surnames": "After Wei Wujun's Corner. In the Eastern Han Dynasty, there was a Jiaoshi in Guanzhong.
In the classic Zhuangzi Zapian Zeyang, it is recorded: "Those who have a country in the left corner of the snail are called Jiao's, and those who have a country in the right corner of the snail are called Man's, and they fight for land from time to time. Tens of thousands of floating corpses, marching north, have five days in ten days and then reverse. " The Jiao family here refers to the civilized country and people.
The second origin: it comes from the surname of Won, and it comes from the descendant of Zhao Kuangyin, the ancestor of the Song Dynasty, and belongs to the surname of Juyi.
In the 9th year of Kaibao in the Northern Song Dynasty (AD 975), the lunar calendar 10 month, Song Taizu collapsed, and ceremonies for good and bad luck were taken as an example. In the third year of Song Taiping's Xingguo (AD 978), in April of the lunar calendar, Zhao Kuangyin was buried in Yongchang Mausoleum. Zhao Kuangyin died strangely, and his brother Zhao Kuangyi acceded to the throne in Song Taizong. Regarding the cause of Zhao Kuangyin's death, the official compilation of the history of the Song Dynasty is vague. I'm afraid the reason is that since Zhao Kuangyi, Song Taizong, the emperors of the Northern Song Dynasty were all inherited by a clan of Zhao Kuangyi.
The third origin: from the Mongols, from the Mierjijiao tribe of the Great Mongolian khanate, belonging to the clan name.
Mier Jijiao clan, that is, Taiyi Chiwu clan, hereinafter referred to as Ba Neighbourhood clan, is one of the core tribes of the Great Mongolian Khanate, but it does not belong to the Mongolian gold family, so it is not the royal orthodoxy of the Yuan Dynasty. Even so, most of its people held important positions in the great empire of the Mongol khanate, and they were once a very prominent family, whose representative was Mierjijiao Bo Yan.
