The Tangju tree has a stout body, a medium crown, a round head, a well-developed root system, thin and slightly upright branches, thick hair tips, oval dark green leaves, slightly deeper serrated edges, and smaller wings. The flowers are small and fully bloomed. It is one of the citrus varieties with stable and high yield. Generally, it will bear fruit within 3 years of planting, and it will bloom after 5 years.
