Salted jelly is more chewy and less brittle.
The following is an introduction to how to make jelly for reference. First prepare the materials: pea starch: one bowl, water: six bowls, salt: appropriate amount.
1. Mix a bowl of water and a bowl of pea starch with an appropriate amount of salt and set aside.
2. Add five bowls of water to the pot and bring to a boil. After the water boils, slowly pour in the starch water, stirring quickly while pouring, so that the starch water is heated evenly.
3. Don’t make the fire too high. Turn on medium to low heat, stir constantly with a spatula, and cook for 8 minutes.
4. Brush the mold with a layer of oil, pour the cooked starch paste into the mold, and then put it in the refrigerator for more than two hours until it is completely solidified.
5. Turn the solidified jelly upside down and cut it into wide strips with a knife.
6. Prepare a clean and water-free container and take out the cut jelly.
