Medicinal Properties: This product is elongated ellipsoidal with three obtuse ribs, 2-4 cm long, 1-5 cm in diameter. The surface is grayish brown to reddish brown, with longitudinal grooves and ribs, with a rounded protruding column base at the tip, and a fruiting peduncle or fruiting peduncle scar at the base. Fruit cortex tough, easy to longitudinal tear. Peel off the outer skin, the center has a yellow-brown septum, the seed mass into 3 petals, each petal has more than 8 to 11 seeds. The seeds are conical polyhedral, about 5mm in diameter; the surface is reddish brown, covered with grayish-white membranous aril, with a longitudinal groove at the ridge and a concave umbilicus at the tip; the texture is hard, and the endosperm is grayish-white. There is a special aroma, taste pungent, slightly bitter.
Cultivation points:
Origin: Yunnan, Guangxi, Guizhou
Harvesting and processing: harvested in the fall when the fruit is ripe. Remove impurities, sun-dried or low-temperature drying.

Contraindications: Yin deficiency blood is forbidden.
