Rosin oil is an organic solvent extracted from petroleum, which is cheaper than olibanum oil, and is also used as rosin water. It's sticky and dries easily. Commonly used in new colors and ordinary pastels, not suitable for advanced pastels. Kerosene can also be added, heated and mixed to become tender oil for painting. This kind of rosin oil, commonly known as white alcohol, is mainly aliphatic hydrocarbon, and is also used to dilute paint, which is extremely flammable.
