The propagation method of fetal chrysanthemum and tribute chrysanthemum:
1. Fetal chrysanthemum: The fetal chrysanthemum mainly grows by dividing roots. After harvesting the fetal chrysanthemum, select strong plants and cut off the remaining stems. Cover the stems with horse manure or soil fertilizer to keep them warm over the winter, so that the roots and buds will sprout early the next spring. When the new seedlings sprout from March to April of the following spring, remove the covering manure and accelerate growth. From late April to early May, when the seedlings are about 20 centimeters tall, dig them out and divide them into new seedlings. Dig holes about 10 cm deep on the border with a row spacing of 50 cm and a plant spacing of 30 cm. Plant 1 to 2 branch seedlings in each hole and compact the cover with soil.
2. Gongju: The main method of cultivating seedlings is cutting seedlings. The seedling substrate and pastoral soil are prepared in a ratio of 1:1 and stirred evenly for seedling cultivation. It is carried out in the greenhouse in March. Select the branches that are thick, strong, well-developed, and free of diseases and insect pests as cuttings. Take the middle part and cut it into 8cm to 10cm segments. Each segment must have at least 1 to 2 bud eyes. Cut the lower end into a bevel and then insert it into the installed one. Plug trays with good substrate, specifications of 50 or 72 holes/tray, should be compacted and watered.
