Zhang Yongjun, the fourth generation descendant of Liao Yan, Han nationality, from Changtu, Liaoning Province, graduated from China Painting and Calligraphy University. At present, he is a member of Liaoning Volume Academic Committee of China Arts and Crafts Complete Works, a visiting professor at Liaoning Economic Cadre Management College, deputy secretary-general of China Calligraphy and Painting Artists Association, deputy secretary-general of Calligraphy and Painting Research Association, member of Folk Artists Association, executive director of Liaoning Arts and Crafts Industry Association, member of Liaoning Federation of Literary and Art Circles Folk Art Committee, president of Benxi Liao Yan Art Association, director of Benxi Calligraphy and Painting Research Association, director of Artists Association, member of Benxi CPPCC and member of China Democratic National Construction Association. Famous calligrapher, national first-class craft technician, master of arts and crafts in Liaoning Province, and master of jade inkstone appreciation in Liaoning Province.
Zhang Yongjun was born in a scholarly family, loved national culture since childhood, and was especially good at calligraphy. Influenced by my family, I often pestered my grandfather to teach him to practice calligraphy when I was a child. While helping him polish the ink, he thought about lifting his wrist and lifting his pen. Whenever he has free time, he always practices a few tricks. Many things happen. When he participated in the calligraphy competition for the first time, his poem "Reading for the Rise of China" written in regular script won the first prize and became a model for the whole school to copy. In May 2006, he won the gold medal in the National Calligraphy and Painting Competition and the honorary title of "Top Ten".
From 65438 to 0988, he started a business in Benxi, a mountain city, and gradually set foot in Liao Yan from writing and painting. Later, he studied under Mr Yuan Bin, a famous scholar in Liao Yan. Since then, he devoted himself to Liao Yan's creation and research, and achieved fruitful results. Since 1998, Benxi Liao Yan Factory, Benxi Liao Yan Research Institute, Benxi Hongda Sculpture Art School, Benxi Liao Yan Art Museum, Benxi Liaoyan Culture and Art Co., Ltd. and Liaoning Huabao Liao Yan Museum have been established successively. It also has four carving centers and a 10 sales center, with more than 60 carving technicians and employees. It is recognized as the fourth generation successor of Liao Yan and the leader of Liao Yan industry.
Over the years, he inherited the skills of Liao inkstone, learned from others, made bold innovations, and created unique techniques such as line carving, seal cutting and semi-circular carving of Liao inkstone. His skill of flying knives on stones is amazing, which makes the stone carving art of Liaoyan more impactful and greatly improves the practicality, appreciation and collection value of Liaoyan. After years of excavation and research, the design of Liao inkstone and the design of China board fan have obtained national patents respectively. He first advocated and created the local standard of Liao Yan, Liaoning Province, and compiled and published the book National Treasure Liao Yan.
Its "Ziyuntang" series of Liao Yan works was rated as one of the "Top Ten Famous Brand Products" by Liaoning Province and Benxi City. The stone carving skills of Benxi Qiaotou, represented by Liao Yan, were rated as "intangible cultural heritage" at the provincial level. In 2000, in order to welcome the return of Macao, the giant Liaoyan designed and created "Uniting as One" was accepted as the treasure of the town hall by Liaoning Provincial Museum. In March, 20001,Liao Yan's art exhibition was held in China Art Museum, which was widely praised by people from all walks of life. Liu Chunhua, president of Beijing Painting Academy, Tong Wei, vice chairman of China Book Association, and Gao Zhendong, a famous educator in Taiwan Province, praised Liaoyan, calling it "the treasure of inkstone forest". Tong Wei, vice chairman of China Book Association, was full of praise after reading it, and wrote an inscription on the spot to congratulate him. In May 2005, Liao Yan's Love in Maple Leaves was permanently collected by Shenyang Palace Museum. In March 2006, Liao Yan's Feng Dan Chaoyang was collected by the Ministry of Culture. In 2008, the Wenchuan earthquake caused worldwide grief, and the officers and men of the whole army were moved by it. The stone carving screen created for this purpose is treasured by the Central Military Commission. At the 20 10 Shanghai World Expo, the giant inkstone "splendid china" and "Light of the Expo" were widely praised. The 16-meter-long three-dimensional Ziyun stone carving "The Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival" for Benxi Radio and Television Building has created a miracle in the history of Liaoyan. His calligraphy works are also deeply loved and widely collected.
In recent years, with the gradual expansion of industrial scale and the continuous improvement of social influence, Benxi Liaoyan Culture and Art Co., Ltd., founded by Zhang Yongjun, the fourth descendant of Liao Yan, is the unit with the largest inkstone making scale, the most perfect mechanism and the largest number of inkstone making, employees and sales centers in Benxi, and has taken the lead in establishing Liao Yan Institute and Liao Yan Museum in Benxi. Zhang Yongjun, the general manager, is the first national first-class craft technician in Benxi and the first master of arts and crafts in Liaoning Province. Because of his outstanding contributions, he has successively won the honors of outstanding CPPCC member of Benxi City, outstanding member of Democratic National Construction Association, advanced individual of supporting the army in Benxi City, top ten most influential news figures in Benxi City, advanced individual of non-public enterprises in Benxi City, and the third and fourth academic leaders in Benxi City.
