Fish is an important staple food for the Kuwaiti people, and Zubayd fish is the most popular among them and is considered to be one of the most delicious fish species in the world. In Kuwait, pictures of Zubayd fish are hung on the walls of many homes, and they are often proud of them. They like eating Chinese food very much. They regard Chinese food as the best meal in the world. They have a habit of sitting on the floor and eating with their hands. Influenced by the outside world, many people also use dining tables and chairs.

Kuwaiti people have the following characteristics in their eating habits:

① Pay attention to the color, fragrance and beauty of the dishes, and pay attention to the high quality and small quantity of the dishes.

② Generally, I don’t like too salty taste, I like slightly sour and spicy taste.

③The staple food is rice, and steamed dumplings and other pasta are also eaten.

④ I like to eat beef, mutton, camel meat, chicken, duck, goose meat and eggs as non-staple food; I like to eat tomatoes, cucumbers, pumpkins, eggplants, onions, cabbage, potatoes, etc. as vegetables; I like to use condiments. Olive oil, cloves, cardamom, tulip powder, coriander, etc.

⑤Preparation method: I prefer dishes prepared by cooking methods such as cold dressing, roasting, and stir-frying.

⑥Chinese food likes Chinese halal food and Sichuan food.

⑦ I really like the recipes: sour kimchi, green stewed beef, dry-fried shredded beef, crispy chicken, braised chicken, fried lychees, fried eggplant clips, cloud-sliced ??pigeon eggs, amber peach kernels, steamed fish segments, Hand-caught mutton, barbecue and other flavorful dishes.

⑧Water and wine: People like to drink black tea, green tea, coffee and other beverages. All drinks containing alcohol are prohibited.

⑨ Fruits: Like fruits such as lychees, grapes, bananas, apples, tangerines, oranges, etc.; dried fruits like walnuts, raisins, almonds, etc. The national flag is horizontally rectangular, with a length-to-width ratio of 2:1. The side next to the flagpole is a black trapezoid, and the right side is composed of equal-width horizontal bars of green, white, and red from top to bottom. Black symbolizes defeating the enemy, green represents the oasis, white represents purity, and red symbolizes bloodshed for the motherland. There is another saying that black symbolizes the battlefield and red symbolizes the future.

The national emblem

is circular. A white falcon spreads its wings to form a circle with sea water, blue sky, white clouds and sailboats traveling on the sea. It symbolizes Kuwait in history. On the chest of the falcon is a shield-shaped national flag pattern, with "State of Kuwait" written in Arabic on the top of the circle.
