What are the specialties of Pingjiang?
Pingjiang specialties include grilled fish, dried sauce, fermented bean curd, shredded black bean sauce and pepper, fried rice, Atractylodes macrocephala, Dongting Xianglian, osmanthus honey and Fushouyuan tea. Among them, Pingjiang's dried sauce is a delicious snack and belongs to Hunan cuisine. Pingjiang County, which belongs to Yueyang City, Hunan Province, is located in the northeast of Hunan Province, upstream of Huishui River and Luoshui River. It is one of the sources of Xiang-Chu culture, and is known as "the upper reaches of blue ink" and "the hometown of China poetry".
