Lipid monitoring is generally categorized into seven items: total cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL, ApoA. apoB, LpA. The first four items are very commonly used for lipid testing. Total cholesterol greater than or equal to 6.2 mmol per liter. Triglycerides greater than or equal to 5.65 mmol/L, HDL less than or equal to 1 mmol/L, and LDL greater than or equal to 4.9 mmol/L are considered severe.
The normal value of total cholesterol: between 3.0 and 5.2 mmol/L, once exceeded is suffering from high blood fat.
Everyone thinks that high cholesterol is caused by eating meat, although eating meat is one of the reasons, but it is not the only one. Daily vegetarianism may also cause high cholesterol to occur. Excessive carbohydrate intake can cause an increase in cholesterol levels in the body, especially when saturated fatty acids are present. Many processed foods contain high levels of trans fatty acids, which stimulate the body to produce high levels of cholesterol.
