Cultivation method of persimmon seedling 1, grafting method
The vast majority of varieties of persimmons can only be cultivated by grafting, because persimmons planted as cash crops are mostly parthenogenetic because of artificial guidance, generally not bearing fruit, and naturally cannot be used for sowing. In order to maintain the characteristics of varieties, seedlings can only be cultivated by grafting.
2. Sowing method
Seeding method can also cultivate persimmon seedlings, but the persimmon cultivated by this method generally has no economic value. The persimmon fruit produced by the planted fruit trees is small in size, poor in quality, less in pulp, more in seeds and poor in taste. The growth and development speed after sowing is also relatively slow, which is not recommended.
3. Seed-urging method
Persimmon seeds used in sowing method can only be used after germination. The cold water soaking method requires soaking in clear water for about 6 days, changing water every day, and then taking it out to dry. The warm water soaking method needs to soak them in water at 30 degrees Celsius for 24 hours, and then take them out for moisturizing and germination for a period of time.
4. Soil selection
No matter which method you use to plant persimmons, you should prepare suitable soil for them to take root and sprout. Generally speaking, loose porous soil with strong drainage and permeability should be selected. The soil should have a certain basic fertility and be acidic, and should not be doped with too many sticky components.
