The Wire Turbinaria is one of the traditional Chinese medicines Turbinaria, the main treatment: rheumatism, joint pain, muscle and bone contracture; external treatment of eczema, mouth sores, carbuncles and swollen poisons.

More bundled into a handful, 10-15cm long, the stem is thin, 1-3mm in diameter, the surface yellow-green to gray-green, with obvious longitudinal stripes; nodes slightly expanded. Leaves opposite, 2-pinnately compound, more broken, complete leaflets lanceolate or narrowly ovate, entire or sparsely dentate. Stem brittle, easily broken. Gas faint, taste faint. It is used as a medicine in the north of Hebei as a herb.

Taste: pungent; salty; warm; slightly poisonous.

Effects: Dispelling wind, removing dampness and relieving pain.
