Brief introduction of hoist
Hoist is a kind of mechanical conveying equipment with fixed device, which is mainly suitable for continuous vertical lifting of powdery, granular and small pieces of materials, and can be widely used to lift bulk materials in feed mills, flour mills, rice mills, oil mills, starch factories, grain depots, ports and docks of various sizes.
The hoist is used to vertically lift granular materials passing through the crusher, such as limestone, coal, gypsum, clinker, dry clay and powdery materials, such as raw materials, cement and pulverized coal. According to the speed of hopper, bucket elevator can be divided into three forms: centrifugal discharge, gravity discharge and mixed discharge. Centrifugal discharge has a fast bucket speed and is suitable for conveying materials with low grindability such as powder, granule and small block. Gravitational unloading bucket has a slow speed, and is suitable for conveying massive, heavy and easy-to-grind materials, such as limestone and clinker. The traction parts of bucket elevator include ring chain, plate chain and adhesive tape. The structure and manufacture of the ring chain are relatively simple, and the connection with the hopper is also very firm. When conveying abrasives, the wear of the chain is small, but its own weight is large. The plate chain structure is relatively firm and light, which is suitable for hoists with large lifting capacity. However, the articulated joint is easy to wear, and the belt structure is relatively simple, but it is not suitable for conveying materials with high grindability. The material temperature of ordinary belt shall not exceed 60℃, the allowable temperature of steel wire rope belt shall be 80℃, the allowable temperature of heat-resistant belt shall be 120℃, and the temperature of materials conveyed by chain and plate chain shall reach 250℃.

The feed of the hoist adopts inflow type, and there is no need to dig with a bucket, so the extrusion collision between materials is small. The machine aims to ensure that materials are rarely scattered during feeding and discharging, thus reducing mechanical wear.
The conveying principle of the material elevator is that the hopper scoops up the material from the lower storage place, then the conveyor belt or chain rises to the top, bypasses the top wheel and rotates downwards, and the material elevator pours the material into the receiving groove. The transmission belt of belt-driven material hoist generally adopts rubber belt, which is installed on the lower or upper driving drum and the upper and lower reversing drum. Chain-driven material hoists are usually equipped with two parallel transmission chains, a pair of transmission sprockets on the upper or lower side and a pair of reversing sprockets on the upper or lower side. Material hoists are usually equipped with housings to prevent dust from flying in bucket hoists.
